Full House

Yes, generally when I'm speaking about Full House, I'm refering to the 90's classic that could still be considered a favorite. This week; however, I'm speaking literally. Now on a regular basis, it's me and my babies: Gracie, Addie, and Zues in my little condo. I guess holidays call for special circumstances though.

This Easter weekend will be full of company, and full of chaos I'm sure. Mom comes today! Actually I think she's here already... for a class in the city Wednesday thru Friday. Which will be a nice change to have her around for a couple nights when I get home from work. Now can't forget the boys. Dad and Mark plan on coming Thursday after Mark gets off work. Great, right? Except I have to be at work all day Friday while they're there. And Saturday I'm travelling down to Richmond with the girls for Amy's bridal shower/tea party (ahh very excited about the official start of wedding season!!). So, though I'm so happy to have my family up, I will feel bad leaving them to entertain themselves two days in a row.

BIG NEWS... Found out last night (thru a little facebook stalking which I am SO happy I engaged in) that Giada de Laurentis is going to be doing a book signing at Sur La Table at Pentagon Row on Saturday! So exciting right?! Well- it starts at 11, should end around 1: which should be the same time Chels and I should be on our way to Richmond. Hopefully I'll get to Arlington early, be up front, meet that fabulous woman, and then road trip while blissfully happy after meeting one of my absolute favorites. Really, she's a definite favorite.

And to top it all off, it's supposed to be in the high 70's and supremely sunny all weekend. Right in the midst of cherry blossom blooms... Received a HORRIBLE email from a colleague though today:
"Due to the extremely unseasonable temperatures that have occurred and are predicting to continue, the peak bloom for the cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin is tomorrow, 31 March. If the temps hit the 80s without lows in the 30s they will fall off by Sunday night. Sad times!!!!!!!!!!!"

Sad times for sure! Hopefully they stick around. Because they're beautiful.

And they make me happy.
